Weeds tend to be opportunistic, growing where the conditions are right. They are extremely hardy and even if you think that you have removed the roots, they can pop up again very quickly. Getting rid of weeds in your lawn Whilst the best way to beat weeds is to have a healthy lawn, when weeds do take a hold, you need the right type of weed killer. Here are three of the most common weeds we see in Australian lawns and how to get rid of them.
Take care with Buffalo grass lawns Always check that any weedkiller is safe for Buffalo grass lawns, because many of them will kill Buffalo grass just as easily as they kill the weeds; you must buy a weedkiller that is specifically designed for Buffalo grass.
